The Glapwell Centre, situated on The Green, Glapwell, caters for a variety of functions such as private hire, business meetings and a range of sports activities. There are two large areas – a sports hall and smaller function room.
The “Village Hall” can be booked for a range of activities including meetings, parties’ weddings and funerals. Residents can get a discount on the booking costs.
The Sports Hall is hired out to local clubs running short mat bowls, badminton, basketball, and football.
Both rooms have access to a kitchen and catering/mobile bar are available on request.
The Glapwell Centre hosts many events throughout the year. These are advertised locally – look out for posters. Current timetable includes the following – please check with the Centre for times.
Booking
We are pleased to be able to offer a sports hall and function room for hire. Both have the option of renting kitchen facilities.
We offer bookings from one hour up to full day and rent on both one off and long-term basis.
All bookings are required to be paid via PayPal in advance.
